The Student Health and Counseling Center is located on the ground floor of New Res Hall and is open Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. The center provides basic health services for students as well as counseling services. A College Nurse sees student by appointment and on a walk-on basis. The Washington Hospital (5 minutes away) serves as our campus clinic. While students can go to the full-service clinic at any time, dedicated appointment times are available each afternoon and on some evenings.
A full counseling center is available to students on campus. Appointments can be made in advance and counselors can also see students on a walk-in basis. The counseling center also provides educational testing services, health and wellness screenings, group counseling (in additional to individual) and programs and outreach.
For medical emergencies, students should contact Campus & Public Safety, 911, or go to the Washington Hospital.
