W&J Alumni Wins Highly Competitive Conservation Fellowship

Bonnie McGill, Ph.D. ’06 has kept busy with ecological and conservation projects since graduating from Washington & Jefferson College (W&J). Her 2018 win of the highly competitive David H. Smith Conservation Research Fellowship assured she won’t be slowing down anytime soon.

Africana Research Center welcomes 2017-18 Postdoctoral, Dissertation Fellows

Penn State's Africana Research Center (ARC) recently announced its two Postdoctoral Fellows and one Dissertation Fellow for the 2017-18 academic year and held its orientation on Monday, Aug. 21. The program supports early-career scholars and junior faculty who conduct research centered on or related to Africa and the African Diaspora and assists them in establishing themselves in academia.

Washington and Jefferson College is ready for IPv6. When we first started to look into doing IPv6, our initial thinking was that we could get a range of addresses, and then take our time with the rollout. However, once we got our ARIN assignment, we took off with it.
